Objective 2

To develop best practice for delivery and production of safe, sustainable, traceable and high quality food in the EU and NZ.

Through FOOD-FRENZ we envisage providing the food industry in the EU and NZ with a toolkit of key principles and models for conducting innovative research that incorporates both cross-sectoral and consumer involvement. This will lead to continued opportunities for growing the export and national food production markets that will in turn boost EU production of value-added foods. A document featuring recommendations for best practice will be produced, and will be compiled in two sections: one section for research managers, considering partnership relationships for effective R&D and innovation studies; and one section for regulators and funding providers identifying some key features essential to minimise risks and promote successful collaborations.
