Objectives

The overall objective of FOOD-FRENZ is to contribute to the European Research Area in the food sector by developing stronger, more formal collaborations between EU and NZ actors (including universities, research institutes, SMEs and other industry, consumer and industry associations) involved in carrying out food research.

These collaborations will in turn be expected to produce extensive networks to strengthen interactions between consumers, research and industry in the food sector.

Specific objectives are:

  1. To strengthen relationships between consumers, knowledge providers and industry in the EU and NZ; and

  2. To develop best practice for delivery and production of safe, sustainable, traceable and high quality food in the EU and NZ.
